Information correct as of 21 September 2026. Several products discussed below are in beta. HubSpot and OpenAI can change availability, pricing and regional terms, so check your own account before committing budget.
HubSpot Fall 2026 Spotlight, published on 16 September, brings a rebuilt Breeze Assistant, self-updating Smart CRM, Marketing Studio and new ChatGPT Ads and Microsoft Advertising integrations. This guide also covers HubSpot AEO, a separate beta product, because its plan allowances affect the same buying decision. UK and US advertisers can use self-service ChatGPT Ads, but the $750 spend-match is US-only. HubSpot feature access depends on your plan and beta enrolment, and Marketing Studio is restricted to Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise.
For most SMEs, the next step is to test a feature against a specific problem in your existing marketing work before expanding its use.
HubSpot Fall 2026 Spotlight announcements
HubSpot presented Fall 2026 Spotlight as a move from AI that answers questions towards software that can act on CRM data. The HubSpot announcement centres on Growth Context, Context Home, the self-updating Smart CRM and a rebuilt Breeze Assistant.
Growth Context is HubSpot’s term for the customer, business and team information its agents use. Context Home shows a completeness score and highlights gaps. The Smart CRM can capture calls, emails and meetings automatically.
Breeze Assistant can take an instruction, select specialist agents and return a plan, report or proposal. Marketing Studio brings campaign planning, production and execution together, including Campaign Agent, Content Agent and Nurture Agent.
The Spotlight catalogue also lists HubSQL in private beta and Snowflake and BigQuery syncs in public beta. Payment products have separate regional conditions: HubSpot Capital requires an eligible US- or UK-based business, while Affirm and Klarna payment options remain beta for businesses based in the US or Canada.
INBOUND has also become UNBOUND. HubSpot announced the change in April 2026, and UNBOUND 2026 ran in Boston from 16 to 18 September.
CRM quality before agent adoption
Check the quality of your CRM records before testing an agent. Missing lifecycle stages and outdated deal values can lead to poor recommendations, even when the software works as intended.
In its 16 September announcement, HubSpot reports 3.6x more marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), 3.2x more deals won and over 2x more tickets closed. Its footnote compares Professional and Enterprise customers using AI with high-quality context against customers not using AI.
HubSpot separately reports 2.2x more leads for Breeze Assistant customers, without clearly providing the same comparison methodology. Its Spotlight catalogue and Breeze Assistant product page also present customer results differently. Do not combine those figures or assume they describe the same group of customers.
These are vendor-reported comparisons, not a before-and-after test of your account. They cannot tell you what you will achieve by switching a feature on.
Before enabling automatic recording or transcription, ask your privacy lead to review the purpose, lawful basis and information given to participants. Check retention and access arrangements too. UK GDPR or EU GDPR may apply, and local recording rules can differ. Updating a privacy notice alone does not settle those questions. The ICO’s guidance on monitoring workers’ calls covers relevant UK considerations, although the ICO currently marks it as under review following the Data (Use and Access) Act.
Confirm the requirements for your use case with your adviser.
Using the rebuilt Breeze Assistant
Breeze Assistant can now coordinate multi-step work rather than only answer questions.
You might ask it to plan a Q4 campaign for accountancy clients in North West England or analyse an underperforming customer segment. It can call specialist agents and return work for review.
Give Breeze a defined task and review what it returns. For campaign work, HubSpot’s Campaign Agent documentation says it does not automatically publish the campaigns or assets it creates. Keep a named person responsible for checking and approving the drafts.
Some agent features consume HubSpot Credits. Check which actions are chargeable and monitor usage during the pilot before expanding it.
Which HubSpot plans include Marketing Studio?
Marketing Studio requires Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise. It is not available on Marketing Hub Starter.
HubSpot’s Marketing Studio documentation labels the product beta. The Spotlight catalogue describes Marketing Studio, Campaign Agent, Content Agent and Nurture Agent as public beta.
You also need Super Admin or Campaign permissions and generative AI enabled in your account. To use Campaign Agent, a Super Admin must also enable the Files data and Breeze Assistant access settings. Campaign Agent documentation specifies that certain features require credits.
Marketing Studio combines campaign planning, asset production and execution through calendar, board and asset-list views. Campaign Agent proposes plans and Content Agent drafts assets. Nurture Agent personalises automated marketing emails using CRM data. It requires Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise and consumes credits each time it personalises an email for a contact. Set an agent credit limit before testing it.
HubSpot says early Marketing Studio customers created 81% more campaigns. The announcement does not explain the comparison group for that figure. Treat it as a reported increase in output, not evidence of better campaign returns.
Article 50 of the EU AI Act has applied since 2 August 2026. For AI-generated text published to inform the public on matters of public interest, an exemption from disclosure can apply where the content undergoes human review or editorial control and a person or organisation holds editorial responsibility for publication.
Keep a substantive review step and name the person responsible for publication. Check whether the provision applies to your content. This is not legal advice. See the Commission’s overview and Article 50.
What does HubSpot AEO include?
HubSpot AEO is a beta product for monitoring brand visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
According to the HubSpot AEO product page, it tracks prompts, citations, sentiment, competitor share of voice and cited domains. It also produces content recommendations.
Standalone HubSpot AEO lists 25 tracked prompts at US $50 per month, or US $45 per month with annual payment, before applicable tax. HubSpot also offers a free trial of 25 prompts without a payment card, which its documentation describes as lasting 28 days.
Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise include AEO. HubSpot’s AEO documentation specifies 25 prompts for Professional and 50 for Enterprise. The product page describes an expanded allowance for both paid tiers, but the documentation lists Professional at the same 25 prompts as standalone. Additional prompts are available to buy. Check your account’s allowance and local billing before buying.
Use the findings to decide which pages need attention. Visibility monitoring cannot guarantee citations in AI answers.
Is HubSpot ChatGPT Ads available in the UK?
Yes. OpenAI launched ChatGPT Ads in the UK on 11 August 2026, according to its testing ads update, and its Ads Manager availability page lists the UK for self-service access. Eligibility follows the advertiser’s account, billing country and OpenAI’s terms rather than where you happen to be sitting.
HubSpot’s ChatGPT Ads documentation describes its integration as beta and available across all HubSpot products and plans.
You need an active ChatGPT Ads account with an API key, HubSpot Ads publishing permission and Super Admin beta opt-in. With auto-tracking enabled, HubSpot adds UTM parameters to ad URLs and supports reporting on attributed contacts and deals alongside other paid channels.
HubSpot integration access and OpenAI advertising eligibility are separate requirements. If you operate outside the UK or US, check OpenAI’s availability table before planning a test; if account access fails, use OpenAI’s support or advertiser enquiry route rather than assuming a HubSpot connection overrides the restriction.
For an agency, the useful test is whether leads and resulting deals can be attributed reliably. Check the source recorded for incoming contacts and associate resulting deals with those contacts. Compare cost per qualified lead with an established channel, using the same qualification criteria.
Is the $750 ChatGPT Ads credit available in the UK?
No. The $750 spend-match is for eligible new US advertisers only.
HubSpot and OpenAI announced the AI Growth Bundle on 16 September. The offer page says eligible new US advertisers must sign up before 30 September 2026. The partnership announcement says “by September 30”. The wording leaves it unclear whether sign-ups on 30 September qualify, so confirm the deadline and applicable time zone with HubSpot before relying on that date.
The sign-up deadline is separate from the spending conditions. The offer gives eligible new advertisers 14 days to spend $750, followed by a $750 coupon to use within 90 days. OpenAI’s linked Ad Credit Terms say credits expire 90 days after issuance unless the specific offer states otherwise. Confirm when the 14-day spending period starts and check the expiry date attached to your credit.
The bundle includes discounted HubSpot Starter seats and credits. It is for new HubSpot customers whose accounts have never held a paid subscription. The buy-one-get-one ChatGPT Business seat offer requires an annual subscription for 12 months. Check the renewal terms: the announcement describes a one-year Starter discount, while the offer page says the discounted rate renews.
Is Microsoft Advertising in HubSpot still beta?
HubSpot’s Microsoft Advertising documentation, updated 1 September 2026, labels the integration beta and lists access across all products and plans. The Spotlight catalogue does not explicitly confirm general availability, so plan your test on the basis that it remains beta.
The integration brings Microsoft campaign performance and attribution into HubSpot alongside other paid channels.
Only individual Microsoft Advertising accounts can connect. Microsoft Ads customer accounts cannot, so an agency must link each account it manages under a customer account separately.
The connecting user needs Publish access to HubSpot’s ads tool and Super Admin access to the individual Microsoft Advertising account. An organisational Microsoft account may also require Entra administrator consent. Cancelled accounts cannot connect; billing or policy problems can cause an account to be marked inactive.

What to evaluate and test this quarter
Evaluate now
Check your subscription and permissions before planning a trial. Review Context Home, then correct missing lifecycle stages and outdated deal values in the CRM.
If you already spend through Microsoft Advertising, decide whether bringing its attribution into HubSpot would improve your reporting.
For AEO, start with the questions customers ask before buying. A manual check in the answer engines can help you choose prompts, though a single response is not a reliable measure of visibility.
Test carefully
If ChatGPT Ads fits your audience and you have an eligible account, run a limited experiment. Set a budget cap and a review date before launch, and check CRM attribution before drawing conclusions. Compare cost per qualified lead with Google Ads using the same qualification criteria and reporting period. Retain established channel budgets until the evidence supports a change.
If your plan supports it, run one Marketing Studio campaign with a defined objective. Monitor HubSpot Credits and require human sign-off for every asset.
If AEO is included, choose commercially relevant prompts within your account’s allowance and review the findings over a quarter. Judge the tool on whether it helps you make better editorial decisions.
Wait or monitor
Keep ChatGPT Ads within your experimental budget until your own results justify a larger commitment. Leave working nurture programmes in place while testing any replacement on a limited segment.
A beta without a clear business case can wait.
Making a decision this quarter
For your business, the value of HubSpot Fall 2026 Spotlight depends on whether it improves work you already need to do. Start with a specific problem, such as unreliable attribution or slow campaign preparation, and test the relevant feature.
Keep a named person responsible for approving the output. Expand the test only when the results justify its cost, and leave effective programmes running while you assess alternatives.
Frequently asked questions
Is HubSpot ChatGPT Ads available in the UK?

The 14-day spending window is separate from the sign-up deadline; confirm when it starts. OpenAI's Ad Credit Terms set a default expiry of 90 days after issuance unless the specific offer states otherwise.
Which HubSpot plans include Marketing Studio?
Marketing Studio requires Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise. It remains beta and needs Super Admin or Campaign permissions, with generative AI enabled. Some agent features require HubSpot Credits. Marketing Hub Starter does not include it.
Is HubSpot AEO included with HubSpot?
HubSpot AEO is included with Marketing Hub Professional (25 tracked prompts) and Enterprise (50 tracked prompts). The standalone beta package lists 25 prompts at US $50 monthly or $45 per month with annual payment, before tax. Confirm your account's allowance and local price.
